Boiled Wool Fabric Information

Gorgeous quality Pure Wool Fabric. Boiled as part of the manufacturing process to create an ultra stable, robust and durable fabric. Processing also ensures the fabric is pre-shrunk and non-fray. 

This range has proved incredibly popular in the Empress Sewing Centre with one of the main questions being ‘is it pure wool?’. The answer is a resounding Yes! We are also pleased to stock a collection of in a range of designs.

Certification

We are pleased to say our Boiled Wool is both Oeko-Tex Certified and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) Certified.

The RWS is a standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. The RWS is a solid standard that verifies the best practices in animal welfare and land management that farmers are implementing including handling, nutrition, medical treatments, and sustainable land management. 

Fabric Offers & Cut Lengths

The fabric is priced per metre.

To order simply add metres to your basket – Boiled Wool Orders will be cut as one continuous length up to the standard 10m full bolt option. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Also available in longer roll lengths of up to 50m by special request.
