As a slightly heavier weight 80/20 wadding / batting, Acadia is slightly firmer than its pure cotton counterparts. This makes it that bit more stable and ideal when a quilt is expected to be washed regularly and repeatedly.

With a guide of stitching up to 8″ apart the wadding is great for machine use but even with this level of stability remains soft to handle.

Ideal for hand use too, Acadia is needle friendly and hand stitching will glide through with relative ease. For an even softer hand quilting wadding the options are ideal.

As an extra touch of quality & care, Bosal Pre Shrink all their waddings for your convenience. This means you don’t have to pre wash the wadding before use and can concentrate on enjoying your project!
