Classic all-way stretch Lycra fabric. Durable, ultra stretchy and moisture moderating the material is a staple in dance, sport and other activewear.

Fabric Ordering

The fabric is priced per metre.

To order simply add metres to your basket – Lycra Orders will be cut as one continuous length up to the standard 15m full bolt option. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Recommended Sewing Thread

We recommend sewing with  – this has the ideal combination of strength and thickness. It is also perfect for hand or machine use and will still run even when sewing at high speeds.

This is the thread that is included when you ‘add a matching thread’ above.

Sewing Your Lycra Fabric

Along with the actual Lycra & Jersey Fabrics, we are pleased to offer you all the ‘bits and bobs’ around the edges that make sewing ‘stretch’ easier and much more effective.

Needles – Stitch with . The ball of the needle parts the Jersey fibres rather than piercing them to help ensure the elastic quality remain intact.

Thread – Stitch with , this is a poly/cotton fibre. Alternatively, if you would prefer to work with a pure cotton option  will also stitch perfectly.

General Purpose Thread is included if you ‘add a matching thread above’.  

Interfacing –  are created especially for working with fabrics such as Jersey. They add a little more body to make sewing easier.
